This limited-time deal for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which reduces the price of the Nintendo Switch game by 20% is a deal hard to resist. The standard retail price for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is £49.99 so that’s a decent £10 saving which is well worth considering. After all, the price of Nintendo games rarely comes down after launch.
Players will set out on a new adventure in the Paldea region, choosing one of three new starter Pokémon. The grass-type cat Sprigatito, the fire-type crocodile Fuecoco, and the water-type Quaxly. While with Pokémon Scarlet, you will gain access to the legendary Pokémon Koraidon, which serves as the main mode of transportation in the game. Those who take up Pokémon Violet will be able to ride Miraidon, another legendary Pokémon that will offer the same travel benefits as Koraidon.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are adapting the open-world formula from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which spurred major changes. During the game, Pokémon trainers will be able to take part in cooperative four-player play as they journey through three different stories, which include the familiar Pokémon Gym battles. This exciting evolution is long overdue.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is due to release on Friday 18 November 2022. It will also be available on all versions of the Nintendo Switch game console. The Nintendo Switch will bring the gaming experience up a gear with the launch of the OLED model: PokémonTM Scarlet & Violet Edition.
These games are suitable for players aged seven and over. The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be played in all three modes of the Nintendo Switch, via TV, tabletop, and handheld. Both games are also available separately or as a set in the SteelBook edition as a dual pack.
