A teaser poster for the OnePlus 11 5G and Buds Pro 2 on top of a tablet, likely the OnePlus Pad, at OnePlus’ Cloud 11 launch event. This could only indicate one thing – it’s highly likely that all three devices will be released at the same time on February 7.
Earlier this week, OnePlus has confirmed to TechRadar that the OnePlus Pad will be launching alongside it. There are now leaked renders of the OnePlus Pad, a new device from OnePlus. The Pad was last discussed in 2021, when a trademark application was filed. Things have progressed since then, and, while we don’t have views of the full specs, some renders and a few specs have been made known.
Tech tipster OnLeaks reports that the device will be 11.6 inches and have a unibody metal chassis.
This device is most notable for its large camera cutout on the rear. In the imagery, there’s no indication of what might be lurking behind there, but such a large cut-out might suggest a multi-sensor setup.
As far as the eye can tell, there are almost no seams in the minimalist design. While the sides are flat, the edges are rounded, giving the tablet a sleek appearance. On the tablet, the bezels appear relatively slim, and the front-facing camera is centered on the right side.
No matter where it ends up, though, it’s a worthwhile addition to the company’s product line. This will allow for more comprehensive technology across the line.
In a previous teaser on the event website, OnePlus hinted that “boxes come in all shapes and sizes”. Considering the close relationship between Oppo and OnePlus, it won’t be a surprise if the latest design is rebadged from OPPO Pad or OPPO Pad Air.
