A size comparison of the upcoming lineup has been shared by leaker Sonny Dickson. Dickson’s latest claim that the Pro model will have a 49 mm case size, not the 47 mm – 48 mm previously suggested. As a comparison, the Apple Watch Series 7 is available in 41 mm and 45 mm case sizes. These case sizes are also expected to be available in the standard Series 8 models with the same designs.
Apple Watch Pro comes with a flat display and a case size measuring 49 mm, which makes it the largest Apple Watch display to date. It could result in a much larger display than the 1.99-inch initially reported, which could even turn out to be 2 inches or more.
Whatever the Apple Watch Pro display size turns out to be, it will be compared to 1.691-inches on the 41 mm and 1.901-inches on the 45 mm Apple Watch Series 7. The larger display also indicates that users could see several on-screen health features they can use whenever they go. Fitness enthusiasts might get to see more stats on the screen.
91Mobiles shared CAD images of the Apple Watch Pro’s upcoming design and also claimed to come in the same 49 mm case size. The redesigned watch will feature a physical button on the left side, a flat screen, and a protrusion housing the Digital Crown and Side button seen in the images.
It reportedly housed a larger battery, along with a low-power mode, and a rugged titanium casing. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman later confirmed the precision of the design shown in the CAD images. Gurman hinted that the Apple Watch “Pro” would have a screen that would “be bigger than most wrists”.
Price estimates for the upcoming Apple Watch Pro model are expected to range from $900 to $1,000. Alongside the Apple Watch Series 8, the Apple Watch Pro could be joined by a less expensive Apple Watch SE.
