During the “Far Out” iPhone 14 event, Apple has unveiled its latest noise-canceling true wireless headphones, an improvisation from its predecessor, the 2019 AirPods Pro. The new model runs on Apple’s H2 chip which powers on Adaptive Transparency figures to deliver crisp sound, better clarity and depth – all while maintaining environmental awareness.
For the same starting price of $249, AirPods Pro 2 offer a new low-distortion audio driver and custom amplifier to emit richer bass and a quality sound experience. While the ear tips design remains the same, the AirPods Pro 2 now comes with a pair of extra-small ear tips to cater for users with smaller ears.

The AirPods Pro now features personalized Spatial Audio for a more personalized listening experience. Transparency mode has been enhanced to adapt to ambient noise, and touch swipe controls are now available on the stems to extend the pinch controls for added convenience.
In comparison to the original AirPods Pro’s battery life of 5 hours, the new AirPods Pro 2 supports up to 6 hours of continuous usage on a single charge, on top of additional four full charges with the case. That means higher performance while consuming less energy. The wireless lightning charging port remains, and the earbuds are chargeable with the Apple Watch magnetic charger.

The charging case has been updated with a built-in bottom speaker which can issue an audible location ping, complementing Apple’s precision Find My feature. On its side, the AirPods Pro case has a divot for lanyard loop. Emojis can be engraved on the front of the case as an extra touch of personalization.
Preorders will begin on Sept 9th 2022, and shipments will begin on Sept. 23.
