Partnering with EcoChain, the objective of Skullcandy was to minimize and publish associated carbon emissions related to the creation of its audio gadgets. The partnership between Skullcandy and TerraPass has enabled an investment in certified carbon-capture programs to offset impacts, resulting in a net-zero footprint for products in the Transparency Series.

The brand-new Transparency Series includes the Hesh Evo Wireless Headphones and the Jib True 2 Wireless Earbuds, both in a stylish, translucent color design. In the same vein as all Skullcandy products, the Transparency Series comes in 100% recyclable packaging.
Skullcandy have used Insights from EcoChain to ‘better understand the carbon footprint of the Transparency Series and its entire brand portfolio’, the brand said. This also helps Skullcandy to set ‘accountability benchmarks’ and direct eco-friendly product improvements. The EcoChain analysis is apparently also helping to ‘inform a new generation of eco-conscious products’ slated for 2023.

The Limited Edition Skullcandy Transparency Series Hesh Evo Wireless Headphones contain carbon emissions equivalent to 12.14 kg, neutralized via carbon offset credits.
The device supports up to 36 hours of usage, and features Rapid Charge Battery Technology, Built-in Tile Finding Technology, and Call, Track & Volume Control. The headphones sell at a retail price of $114.99 at Skullcandy US and £99.99 at Skullcandy UK.
Skullcandy Transparency Series Jib True 2 Wireless Earbuds
In comparison to the Hesh Evo Headphones, Skullcandy’s Limited-Edition Transparency Series Jib True 2 Wireless Earbuds contain less carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to 5.7 kg, that are offset via carbon offset credits.
