Kim K Special Edition Beats Fit Pro are available in skin tones, rather than the usual white or black most true wireless earbuds come in. But Apple’s premium Beats earbuds aren’t exactly affordable.
We are pleased to discover that JLabs’ GO Air TONES are much more affordable alternatives for those seeking skin-tone earbuds on a budget.
The GO Air TONES offers seven Pantone shades ranging from dark brown to pale pink. This makes it possible for you to find something that is a closer match with your skin tone. In partnership with LA nail brand ORLY, the colors were selected from over 60 shades to find the most suitable options.
The specs are reasonable. At the price tag of $24.99, you get good value for money from a pair of luxe-looking earbuds powered by Bluetooth 5.1, EQ2 sound with 20Hz-20KHz frequency response. There’s Dual Connect technology, so you can use the earbuds independently of one another, and support for the dual SBC and AAC codecs. For this price range, it is understandable that the buds are not supported by aptX.
The buds are IPX4 water / sweat resistant. With its total battery life of 32 hours, each earbud offers 8 hours of playback. Sized smaller than a credit card, the earbuds are JLab’s smallest curation yet at 15% smaller and 40% lighter with the compact, pocket-size case.
Retailing at the price tag of $24.99, the JLabs’ GO Air TONES are certainly an affordable piece at a great deal. It’s available on Amazon in the US, JD Williams and John Lewis in the UK, and Harvey Norman in Ireland.
Facts check! We learned that the GO Air TONES buds were released several months earlier than the Kim K Special Edition Beats Fit Pro. Although the Beats Fit Pro is ten times as expensive retailing at $199.99, the Beats offers superior sound quality and build quality overall.
